What if we get to Atlantis and they are sold out?

I hope that someone will be able to answer my ?. We are cruising on Sensation in less than a week! I have booked the Wyndham day excursion in Freeport, but I am still at a loss on Nassau! We wanted to do the aqua pass for pool and beach use. However, Carnival does not show it available, only with a dolphin or sea lion swim. And when I called Atlantis, they were on first come first serve at the desk. We are going between Xmas and New Years and now I'm afraid we won't be able to get the pass for the day. What do we do if we get there and we cannot get in? Yikes. Any alternatives that we could do quickly if we have to switch gears?

Thanks everyone!

If they are sold out, walk thru the casino and out the Coral Towers door and head to the public beach on Cabbage Beach.

Or jump back in the cab and head to the Sheraton at Cable Beach. It's about 20 minutes away.. but they don't turn people away.

Just a heads up. The BEACH day pass does not allow access to the pool. Only the AQUA PASS (waterpark) pass allows you to use the pools.

Be very careful that you understand which is which.

Cabbage beach looks great! Are there vendors with chairs and somewhere to get a cold drink? I was checking out Google earth and it looks like the resorts have signs on the beach but I assume the beach is public. Just would like to be able to catch lunch and some refreshments!

Thanks so much.

Thanks for the info Scubagirrl...that is exactly what I have been looking for.

The only other thing I can't seem to find is time limits. Our ship is in port from 8am until 11:59pm

If I go to Atlantis in the mid to late afternoon can I get a taxi (water or land) back to the port later that night (10pm)? Does Atlantis make non-overnight guest leave at a certain time?

Thinking of walking the straw market/Nassau in the morning. Then heading to Atlantis, doing the aquarium tour in the afternoon and walking/gambling/eating in the evening...is this allowed?

Thanks in advance!

There's no time limit on the day passes. (except that they expire at midnite and you would need another for the next days adventures).

You can purchase an aquarium tour (does not allow access to pool or beach) and use it all day and nite.

You don't need a pass for the evening, since nothing is open except the casino and restaurants. I wouldn't plan on walking the grounds after dark.

They have plenty of taxis waiting to take you back to the pier.
