Summer Cruises

Does anyone know when they start to push the summer cruises? I think the prices are a bit high right now and I am hoping they drop a bit....

Have yet to see too many "summer" cruises drop in price too much... they have a very captive audience i.e. familes with children out of school, and the longer you wait to book, the higher the rates get and less availability becomes an issue as well. Book it now and watch for rate drops up till final payment date (unless you book under the ES program where you can watch for price drops up until 2 days before sailing for some OBC !).

They only summer cruises I have seen that have dropped a lot are Alaska cruises.

I saw some out of New Orleans drop last summer, probably because of the economy. They dont usually drop, but they did last summer.

They were also cheaper becuase of the swine flu scare.
