JahHaus Posted December 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2009 Assuming some resort hotels allow cruise ship passengers to use their beaches, can anyone give me specifics as to the best, how far away and how much?
The Islander Posted December 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Some beaches have resorts on site like Carombola, Buccaneer and Divi, some have small hotels on site like Sandcastles and some have condo developments. You can go to the beaches; the facilities/amenities at the developments/resorts are for owners/guests though some rent chairs/gear to non-guests and bar/restaurants are open to everyone if you want to buy food/drink. What are you looking for at the beach... swimming, snorkeling, watersports, food/drink; that might help with suggestions. --Islander

world_traveler_et Posted January 29, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2010 I heard that the Buccanner is about 45 minutes away from the port. Does anyone know the cost of a taxi to the resort?
The Islander Posted June 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 5, 2010 Frederiksted to Buccaneer around $13 per person, one way for a group of 3 or more. --Islander
