rosaree Posted December 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2009 We have this cabin booked for the !2 April 2010 cruise to Hawaii. Have heard and read a few negative things about the cabin being located close to the front of the ship such as: feeling the swell as we are located at the front of the ship, the noise of the anchor, being kept awake by the sound of the waves hitting the front of the ship - can anyone shed some light on these? We know that it's a fair walk to get to anywhere on the ship but not too worried as we intend to walk as much as possible - don't want to gain as much weight on this cruise as we did on our last cruise. AuzzieCruiser Posted December 31, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Welcome to the Boards Rosaree.:) We are also booked on this cruise to Hawaii.:D I've never sailed at the very front, but did do a 'loop walk' on Deck 3. I noticed there was a humming noise towards the front as well. Also note, it is 2 portholes here, not a window. We spent 5 weeks on the Rhapsody in Feb and March and only had 2 'rough' nights. The Pacific can get rough though. The cruise is sold out at this stage, but once final payment is due, some cabins should open up. So keep an eye out, and you should be able to move without any problems. We're lucky. We got our cabin from our last cruise. Good old 3092.:)
