tinybabynurse Posted January 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2010 We want to visit these 2 beaches for snorkeling. Are they close in proximity? Which should we visit first? I have copied bus info for Mullins Beach but how do I take the bus to Gibbs beach - is it along the same route? I appreciate info from anyone who can help us----
floss Posted January 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2010 it is on the same route in fact one leads into the other, It really on long strech with gibbs lead in to mullins all one area, the bus will pass just along and they will let you know when you reach. Aplmac Posted January 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2010 You just need the North Swell to not be running, on your day -or for a few days prior to your visit. Why? Because it stirs things up, and underwater visibility is reduced to yuk. If you see waves on that West Coast, you've got a swell running. Head to Carlisle Bay or Accra/Rockley instead. . Johnthed0g Posted January 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2010 Same beach really as already stated, I wouldn't think the best for snorkling but Folkstone near Holetown is good. As far as directions go if you stand on Mullins facing the sea turn left & round the corner is Gibbes.
