Wal-Mart in Acapulco?

There is one on Acapulco's main drag "Costera Miguel Aleman" It is not close to the ship however. It would probably cost $7-$10 to get there (one way) by cab. It is past Playa Condesa maybe 5 minutes or so (Acapulco's main beach). We went there in December but it was because we were already going to Playa Condesa so it was only a little further. Major traffic on Costera Miguel Aleman can make this simple trip take up to 1/2 hour to get there.

Is there a specific reason to go to a WalMart. There are big stores like Soriana's that is very similar. Kind of Mexico's version of WalMart. There is one that is fairly close to the ship.

Here is a map for the WalMart. We went to the balloon marked "A". The ship parks at the Maritime Terminal (way over to the left).

Zoom in on the map for more detail.
