Daytime activities on board

We are going on the Crown next month and wondered what entertainment during the day is free? Can you learn to ballroom dance? We would love to give it a go. I understand that wine tasting and pottery has a charge but I am sure that some things must be included?

you can do the dance lessons for free. They may have ballroom, line dancing, salsa depends on the cruise. Most of the daily activities are free. There are martini demos, food carving demos, trivia, pool games, etc.

Other free activities include lying by the pool, the library, a variety of games, guest lectures, bridge, art auctions if you just watch., port talks (depending on itinerary - these may just be sales talks).

...and the best way to check is to take your yellow hilighter with you and detail the activities you are interested in as you read your Princess Patter. The Patter is delivered to your stateroom at the same time your beds are turned down and the Princess fairy leaves her chocolates on your pillows.

yep, good idea to take a marker. There are so many activities to choose from or you can choose none and lay by the pool. Always something to do/or not do

It would be more easier to note what has a charge. Most of the daytime activities are completely free. If you want to play bingo, you pay for the cards. Casino is obviously something that costs. Some classes, some gym classes (Pilates, spinning, but the others don't).

 

You can find plenty to do without your cabin key card getting swiped. Some for the nighttime entertainment.
