sesquius Posted January 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2010 We are catching a cruise with RCL in Miami (Feb 8) and are planning on parking at the Port of Miami. Do we have to make reservations? I'm guessing no. Also, how much time needs to alloted for finding parking and etc? I know that the papers say not to arrive before 2 for loading on the ship. First time cruising for me and my family and I'm befuzzled by all of this. My dad is one who likes to micro-manage, and currently parking is an issue he is wanting resolved. Thus, I turn to you guys for help in this. Thanks! -------- Sherri
JohninDC Posted January 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2010 No parking reservation required, just pre-pay your $20 per day and find a spot for your vehicle. We always arrive about noon and are usually on the ship in time for lunch. Good luck!:)

Capt_BJ Posted January 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2010 good advice think about it .... the garage you want to park in is the same one the cruise arriving is using. you are wise to give them time to get off the ship, load up and leave. if U arrive b4 that time, you'll be taking the leftover spaces - farther away - IF there are any. you would probably be OK any time after 1030 but pern'ly I like noon myself . . .
