iPhone on Emerald?

Has anyone been able to get cell phone service from AT&T on the Emerald? It is not listed on AT&T's list of cruise ships that have service from and the person I talked to at AT&T thinks it's just an oversight. Has anyone used an iPhone on the Emerald? I know the charges are high, but we just want to make sure our kids can reach us in an emergency directly as opposed through the ship.

I would not count on ATT cell use unless you are in port.

 

Give the ships emergency # to them you will sleep better.

Your iPhone will work. The cell coverage on Princess ships is provided by MCP. MCP has agreements with AT&T and T-Mobile. They support 3G GSM. It is an oversight.
