Boarding time

I was wondering if anyone knew the time one is able to embark on a Celebrity Ship leaving around 8:30 PM from San Juan. We are stying the night before at a resort in San Juan, but I'm not sure at what time we can head out and onto the ship? Any insight??

Our last trip out of San Juan was a year ago on the Summit. We were eating before 12:00.

Last weekend we arrived at the port at around 11:30 am, did some shopping at the duty free, and were on board before 12:30.

Last week we checked out of our San Juan hotel at 12 noon, took a taxi to the cruise port and were in our stateroom on the Summit before 1 pm. Enjoy your cruise!

The later departure time from San Juan is simply to allow more time for people flying same-day to reach the ship in time, not due to the ship not being ready to board until late. So long as debarkation of the previous voyage goes smoothly, boarding often begins around 11:00am just as on sailings from ports with earlier departure times.
