Looking at doing this together with La Popa monestary for our upcoming cruise. I heard that alot of tours stopped going there because they were not keeping the place up properly.....anyone know anything about that?

Also, how do you protect your belongings while doing this tour? What did you do with your passports, money, cameras etc.

And finally. Did you do this by ship tour or private and if private would you mind if I ask what you paid. I have a quote at present which seems expensive from what I can tell. Our cruise line doesn't offer a tour to this place so I need to go privately.

Thanks for any and all help.
