Haven't been to Labadee since 2006..what's new?

I have sorted through the many posts and know the major highlights...now there is a pier, cabanas.....what else is new? I have a feeling that the Labadee I had grown to love just isnt the same now! We are actually fortunate enough to be staying in a suite and are considering reserving one of the cabanas over the water. Wondering if anyone has any experience with the cabanas thus far?

Thanks!

Heather

You will not recognize it! Paved paths, far fewer trees, more buildings and signs, and the market is VERY different. My husband said they made Labadee almost "Disney-like"! I'm not sure I would go that far, but it is MUCH less "quaint" and rustic.
