Half Moon Cay...current water temp?

We will be on Half Moon Cay on March 7, 2010 off the Carnival Liberty. With the current cold snap in Florida, anyone been to Half Moon Cay recently and can comment on the water temperature? We were there last March and it was a bit chilly but I suspect the ocean might be much colder this year. Thanks.

Right now, the surface temps are in the 70-80 range...it will be MORE than comfortable for someone from the far north! Ocean temps have been above normal this year!

There is a big difference between 70 and 80 when discussing water temps.

I was at HMC the second week of feb 2010, the temp was on the high 70's almost 80. the water was cool, especially when you first got in, but not to the point that it was uncomfortable. It was great and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We were there last Friday. Morning started cool and cloudy, by 11AM the sun was shining. I would guess 70-80 with lukewarm water.
