Day use hotel near LAX

Does anyone know of any hotels that offer a day use rate near LAX? We are disembarking in San Pedro and will have the whole day before flying out that night. Would prefer a hotel to leave our bags and relax rather than lump them around. Many thanks for any advice.

Never thought of that questions, I know in Disney World once you are checked out you can hang out. But this one , would hope someone respond to this. THis would help us as we have not purchased the airline tickets yet. Plan to go San Pedro on August 14 and get on Mariner of the Seas on August 15 to 22nd.

Don't know of a hotel but the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach will hold luggage at their coatcheck while you are there.

Evidently the Travelodge on century has a day-use option.

If you want a nicer hotel, I would call up the LAX Sheraton, Marriott, Westin, or Hilton (or other hotels) and ask directly if they can do a day room. with all those midnight flights to Aus/NZ and other places there must be a demand for such rooms.
