Holiday Inn Galveston

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn at 5002 Seawall recently in Galveston, was it nice and is there cruise parking and shuttle? Thank you, Sharon

Yes, they have cruise parking and shuttle. I think either Holiday Inn doesnt matter which one you decide on.

Our cruise in jan we stayed at La Quinta on the seawall. Was very nice and we then drove and parked at EZ cruise.I do remember seeing the holiday inn and it looked nice.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn on the Beach twice. It is ok in th off season but when the rates double we stay outside of town and park at ez park. The unfenced parking lot is behind the hotel. Rodney is one of their shuttle drivers and is full of info. A nice guy.

Parking is GREAT!!! And easy... the HI shares with San Luis and Hilton. I stayed there for one night and got free parking for two weeks since I was on a B2B... no problems and easy and punctual!!! I recommend it!!!

I stayed at the HI Resort this weekend, next to the San Luis. The rooms were very nice and clean.

Very nice place to stay! Shuttle takes you to the cruise termianl.

We have stayed there too!!! They take you to the terminal and pick you up and parking is free with a one night stay. Have fun!

That Holiday Inn is the only place we stay in Galveston when we cruise. The parking is behind the hotel and we were parked there during Hurricane Ike and had no damage to our truck at all. I will always plan on staying there.

We've stayed there four times, and it was fine.

 

They provide shuttles to the ship and back to the hotel after your cruise.

They also had shuttle service to and from the Strand area if you wanted to go sight seeing before the cruise. We're staying there for one night before our March 1st cruise.

 

They do have free parking for cruise passengers in the back of the hotel.

 

It's close to a Kroger grocery store in case you forgot to pack something, and to a IHop which we go to for breakfast before the cruise.
