mina Posted February 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2010 OUr flights were recently changed for our April cruise. We now have the choice of sitting in the FLL airport for three hours or sitting in the Atlanta airport. We do not do post cruise excursions as we just wanna get home at the end of a cruise. Which would you choose? I am not familiar with either airport.
JohninDC Posted February 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Assuming you need to change planes in Atlanta to get home, I'd choose to wait there - you never know if your flight from FLL to ATl will be delayed, and the airport in Atlanta is much larger with more shopping and dining options. Good luck!:)
aarep Posted February 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2010 I would not want to spend any more time than necessary in the FLL airport. Once you are past security there are few passenger amenities.
bigal3967 Posted February 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Definantly Atlanta. Many more shops, bars, and places to eat than FLL.

It is a far more interesting airport with more things to do.

Jim B Posted February 22, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2010 If you should have any delays of any kind Atlanta would be the better place to be in case you need other arrangements to get home.
