abc66nyc Posted April 5, 2010 #26 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Since the wait staff could be different for the anytime dining, did you tip after the meals like in a regular restaurant? How does the auto tip option work with anytime dining?
MrsP_29 Posted April 5, 2010 #27 Share Posted April 5, 2010 We did the Any Time Dining and prepaid our tips on our cruise two weeks ago. They ask for your room number so they know who your servers are. Since the wait staff could be different for the anytime dining, did you tip after the meals like in a regular restaurant? How does the auto tip option work with anytime dining?
C Cruise Dude Posted April 5, 2010 #28 Share Posted April 5, 2010 It's personal preference. I did not like it. I prefer having an asssigned table with the same waitstaff each night. Thank's! I too would prefer the same staff and people at my table.
lillian marie Posted April 5, 2010 #29 Share Posted April 5, 2010 We love anytime dining. At the regular seatings you may be seated with fellow cruisers who are interesting and conjenial (or you may be seated with a boorish jerk who belittles his wife at each dinner or 3 sisters and their spouses who just talk among themselves each night or the drunken insurance agent who teaches you about the insurance game each night).I like the flexibility and the freedom to dine with my family. Knights on the Beach Posted April 5, 2010 #30 Share Posted April 5, 2010 We haven't tried this yet, but definitely would if it's just the two of us. On our next cruise, there will be at least 11 of us, so I think our best bet is to book our regular late dining time.
