Dream Question - Cabins above the theatre

Has anybody stayed in a cabin on Deck 6 above the theatre? If so, how bad was the noise from the theatre? I have a choice of three cabin locations 1) behind some elevators which could mean hearing the elevators 24 hours a day, 2) front of Main Deck which means hearing the waves against the ship in rough seas, or 3) Deck 6 and maybe hearing the shows from my cabin.

Which location would be the best (i.e. the least of evils and quietest)?

Thanks for any help anybody can give me.

I am currently on the Splendor and am experiencing the second night of rough seas and banging ship. Sleep does not look likely to night. :(

Not quite having the same problem.....on our last Victory cruise....we were above the lounge opposite the casino....the music blasted until 2AM.....I and the other cruisers in our area spent that first night complaining to the pursor who ended up getting yelled at by the CD for trying to help us.....

The only thing that saved us was that I brought earplugs (the last thing I packed and that was as we started leaving from home)

Since you know you will hear the elevator.....you know you will hear the theatre (probably) but you don't know if there will be rough seas....I might go with the latter....(but that is just me)....
