Another Grandeur Question

Can you get a lounge chair for a regular (not aft) D1 category balcony?

Just got back from the Grandeur with a D1 cabin. I'm sure you could request a lounger but it would take up the majority of the balcony. Also, the balcony doen't get any sun really. I just sat in the chair, put my feet up on the other chair, and sipped my mango margarita watching the waves go by!

thebigrooster, will the hanging lifeboats block the view from our D1, 7th deck, midship cabin on Grandeur? We're in # 7572 on 1/15/05.

Jumping in here. We had 7572 on the Grandeur in December out of New Orleans. Great location. The lifeboats are lower and located fore and aft, so there was nothing to block the view.

CrazycruiseCanuck - Thanks so much for the info on #7572. We will be first time cruisers and I'm doing my best to use everything I've learned on these boards to help me make all the right choices!. Guess I can check the cabin selection off as a winner.
