Rancher Dave Posted March 7, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Pick a destination you want and then the rest will fall in place when you talk to RCCL. Book a suite...it makes for an even nicer cruise.

kyriecat Posted March 7, 2010 #9 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Is the promise of weeding part of the "modern" wedding ceremony? :D;) I found a link to RC's weddings and ceremonies brochure. There is some information on vow renewals on page 9. I think it's a little pricey - $600. http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/Royal_Romance_Brochure.pdf

SamFritz Posted March 7, 2010 #14 Share Posted March 7, 2010 Every spring I renew my weeding vows. It's one of those special moments my wife and I share annually. Just as the tulips and daffodils start pushing through the ground, I look deeply into her beautiful eyes, and pledge to keep the lawn, shrubs, and garden immaculate throughout the coming year. We seal the promise with a kiss. But in the heat of the summer sun, and the busyness of work and family commitment, somehow running the lawnmower regularly is about all I can manage. Sadly, in most years, I fail to honor my weeding vows. But still she loves me. We've tried to solve our weeding dilema, we've even had children to try increase our committment and help with daily struggle. Sadly, we've discovered that children are not the answer to weeding problems. In fact they often make the problems worse, what with their blowing dandelion seeds all over the place. Perhaps this year, with the help of all my Cruise Critic friends, I'll be able to be faithful to my weeding pledge! :D Now, seriously, congratulations on your committment to your marriage. DW and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this summer with a Greek Isle cruise out of Venice. I don't know much about setting up a renewal service on the ship. I'm sure you can contact Royal and they will be of assistance.
