lhall85917 Posted March 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2010 We have sailed on the Valor - loved it, Miracle - really disliked the ship - didn't care for the decor at all, didn't have the newer feel that we like. We have found that we prefer the newer, bigger ships. It looks like the Victory does S. Caribbean in the summer and we are interested in the itinerary - from what I can tell,Victory would fall somewhere in the middle between the Valor and Miracle as far as age and size? If anyone has thoughts or opinions on if we would like Victory I'd appreciate the input.
dclark Posted March 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I've been on Victory, Valor and Spirit. I loved the spirit (same as miracle) as it felt less crowded than the other two ships. The Victory has slightly less people than the Valor, same ship, one less floor of cabins. You may notice slightly less people at pool area, smaller line for the slide, less of a mob on the prominade deck. Victory lacks a supper club, but I think supper club (or is now called a steak house?) has gone down hill.
seashinesunshine Posted March 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2010 We have been on the Victory but not the other ships you mentioned. We liked the ship, the decor was okay, but I don't ever pay that much attention to decor. The Victory has a port every day, which is awesome! We are planning to go back on it next year. Just don't get an aft balcony on the upper deck. The lounge below makes the floor vibrate.
