What floor should we pick on the Monarch

Hi everyone. I am going on a girls only cruise this coming May (it's a moms getaway). It will be our first time on Royal Carrribean. There are 4 of us women, we're going to book 2 rooms, 2 people in each room.

 

We are doing a 3 day on the Monarch of the Seas. Inside stateroom.

 

Any advice on what floor you would recommend we stay on?

DECK 4 and 5 are very convenient...............keep in mind too,deck 8 oceanviews can run about the same rate...says some cabins are obstructed,but look at this deck plan to see the ones not(marked)

We like a deck closest to where we'll spend most of our time...in our case, the pool deck. It just makes life easier if you don't have to use the elevator everytime you want to run to the cabin....keep that in mind when choosing!

doesnt so much matter in my opinion...on the shorter trips like that you spend so little time in your room that the floor doesnt really make much, if any difference

For the most part it probably won't matter, but I would avoid Deck 3 under the Centrum. Apparently the noise from above is pretty extreme.

I believe the Centrum starts on Deck 3, so I think you mean to avoid Deck 2 under the Centrum.

I like most any room near the stairs to quickly get from the cabin to/from ... anywhere.

 

As sugested - do check the other cabins as sometimes a particular outside category may be cheaper than an inside cabin.

Deck 8 for sure. Costs the same, or less sometimes, than an inside on the lowest deck. Obstructed views aren't really that obstructed. And it's so convenient to everything. Go for it!
