mferris77 Posted March 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Does anyone know if the Dream has the "Secret Door" much like the Conquest line of ships have that allow you to go out on to the deck directly on top of the bridge? Looking at photos it seems like it would be on deck 9.
Tenga1899 Posted March 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Looks like there are a lot of forward looking deck spaces. They are all alike in that you walk as far forward on the ship as you can and look for doors leading outside :) The specific deck over the bridge does look to be level 9 and it looks like both the outer-most hallways on either side of the ship go straight forward onto this deck, probably only have a door to open standing in your way! :D
*Mach* Posted March 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Ahhhh... glad you asked! Follow me!! If you go all the way down this hall toward the bow... and turn right at the end of the hall you'll see this door... Beyond that door is THIS door... one with a sign ... Open that and you arrive here... This is actually the Lido Deck... there's another observation area below it on the Vista Deck. The bridge is located on the Verandah Deck... tharris0101 Posted March 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2010 I vaguely remember something like this on the Spirit. Looks similar too. Anyway, there was never anyone there, so we got all of the guys in our group out there with glasses of expensive scotch and cigars on our final night for one last "guys meetup" of the cruise. Good times.
mferris77 Posted March 26, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks all, and thanks Mach, for the pics! It's always fun finding areas where no one else is (or knows how to get to). :-)

And I'm guessing it's Starboard side?? Nope... Lido is Deck 10 on the Dream... there's the Vista deck tossed in there to confuse folks... I happened to be on the starboard side but you can access it from either side. Also, you can use the Vista Deck and proceed the same way... :) The Empress and Upper decks have similar areas and you get there the same way but the view from the Lido is the best! :)

Lady_Jag Posted May 9, 2010 #14 Share Posted May 9, 2010 Out of curiosity, what do the signs on the two doors say? I can't read the first couple of words, but the rest of the sign on the first door looks like it reads, "...please do not open this door."

It's not exactly secret, or hard to find. Just keep going forward...
