Rare Essiesmom Posted April 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2010 There is a past guest reception on cruses five days or more. Free drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Other than that, no perks until your 10th cruise when you turn platinum. EM
Fourseventeen Posted April 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2010 They use to do more for past guests such as past guest pins and such but stopped doing that. They have a small cocktail party as mentioned above but your limited on the types of drinks.

marty30907 Posted April 9, 2010 #12 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Wow, a Past Guest tread without anyone asking or saying that you can take a person that is on their first cruise to the Past Guest Party!:D
elcuchio24 Posted April 9, 2010 #13 Share Posted April 9, 2010 so no coupon booklets? No. The only time I have gotten coupon booklets is when I have booked with certain internet travel sites and they have given booklets as an added bonus.
okwriter Posted April 9, 2010 #14 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Wow, a Past Guest tread without anyone asking or saying that you can take a person that is on their first cruise to the Past Guest Party!:D Can you take a person that is on their first cruise to the Past Guest party? :D
elcuchio24 Posted April 9, 2010 #15 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Can you take a person that is on their first cruise to the Past Guest party? :D I don't think that would be a problem. There are so many people at these parties that the admittance is pretty loosey-goosey.
poundcake09 Posted April 9, 2010 #16 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Can you take a person that is on their first cruise to the Past Guest party? :D I was told no! Invite for each guest. You have to purchase your own pins in gift shop now. My room steward was so nice to get me 1. I guess I 'll attend this time since Mom is a Past Guest now!:D
denred4 Posted April 10, 2010 #17 Share Posted April 10, 2010 I was happy with the past guest discount. Since there are 6 of use, we saved $700.00 that's a nice benefit!
poobears Posted April 10, 2010 #18 Share Posted April 10, 2010 About the only perks for Pg are: Possible discount on cruise price (if it's offered on your sailing) Cocktail party on 5 or more night cruises hmm yeah I think that about covers it LOL Didn't know you could still buy pins in the shop, haven't seen them. Will have to look this time. I don't have one for fascination.

Sorry to say, if you book "early saver" VS "past guest" you would save as much or even more. :(
