I can't wait to find out. We have a cove balcony booked in 8 weeks. :)

The Dream does, indeed, look large from the outside. The inside, however, doesn't seem to match up in largeness because major areas have been reduced to simply accommodate more cabins. The highlight of The Dream was, indeed, the cove balcony!!! Enjoy your cruise.

I've heard so many good things about the cove balconies! I know that this will be one of our most favorite parts of the ship. :)

Can you tell us why? The review are so bad it will be refreshing to hear from someone that liked it.

I'm going to be posting a review later this week. We had a great time and would definitely sail on her again. There were some issues, but nothing that would keep us from having a great time.

We also have a deck 7 wrap in January....

We are in a wrap also, 7459 for the 5/1 sailing next week. I guess my main concern is how bad the crowds situation really is. It seems to me that this being CCL newest ship, it was built with profit in mind and not passenger satisfaction. From what I have read it sounds like there are people on top of people. Is it that bad?

We love the Dream! Would definitely sail her again... We too were concerned about the "bad" reviews. Just be aware there is always someone looking for something negative to say about something. She is a beautiful ship and you will have the "time of your lives". Enjoy! Make memories!

I didn't feel that the ship was too terribly crowded. Yea, it can get busy when people are waiting for the dining room to open and the lido lines can get long at times, but it doesn't seem any worse than it was on the Celebration. It was manageable.

The worst thing I saw was that the elevators took a while. Not a problem though. Just take the stairs.

We had a deck 7 aft wrap in February and really liked it. In fact we booked the same cabin on the Carnival Magic in Europe next May. We really couldn't tell that the Carnival Dream was bigger than the other Conquest class ships. We liked the layout on the Promenade deck 5 and appreciated the deck 4 lower Dream street walkway. The casino is opened up quite a bit. If you avoid the Lido at peak times you should be OK. Don't forget about the Pasta bar the floor above the Lido buffet. It wasn't crowded and was great. We ate brunch in the dining room and that was a good change. There was also a BBQ lunch on sea days on deck 5. We didn't get to it because it was too cold for us to go out but it seemed to draw a lot of people. You should have a great time.

Just got off the Dream and tried to keep a live report. If you look around, I did a "Live From the Dream" with nice shots of the boat and some of the excursions we did. I hope you have as nice a time as we did. I agree with navybaby about the elevators. It wasn't the elevators, but some people using the elevators who were a drag.

Here's a shot from Cozumel on 4/19 to get you excited about the Dream. Enjoy!
