Buenos Aires to Dock

Do any of you know how far it is from the Recoleta area to the ship? I am checking to see if the hotel has a transfer service. If not any thoughts on how best to get to the pier would be appreciated.

It's roughly 2 - 3 miles from the pier to Recoleta, depending on where in Recoleta you will be in. There are many, many taxis in BA, so there is no need to arrange any special service.

Your hotel will be able to make your pick up arrangements,if you let them know before hand.Better to arrange this then try to get a taxi from the port.They will have your name on a sign and help with your baggage.We did this last year when we got off the Amsterdam.The taxi at the dock are out of the pick up area and you would have to lug your baggage onto the street.

Many thanks to you both. We will be embarking in Buenos Aires so from what I read it will probably be OK to get a taxi at the hotel.
