Ilikeboats Posted May 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I can't seem to find a good picture of these staterooms. I am interested in them and would like any input from anyone who has stayed in one of them. I am interested in mid-ship. Which are the best decks to people watch? Are they loud? Do you feel closed in? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
cb at sea Posted May 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2010 They are just like an inside cabin, but with a window.....(actually, on some ships, they're a bit smaller than the insides!)
lynninsc Posted May 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Don't have any pics, but we stayed in Promenade room on the 6th deck on AOS last year and loved it. Did not feel cramped or closed in and loved the proximity to the promenade. Would stay in one again in a hearbeat.
green eyed lady Posted May 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2010 We were also in one on deck 6 and booked the same exact cabin on Explorer for Sept. We LOVED it! :D 1 deck down to the cookies and no noise problems ;)
FloridaGators Posted May 18, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2010 We had one on deck 8 a couple of years ago and now have one booked for this December on deck 6. Also booking another during the WOW sale for 2012 on deck 6. If I can attach this pic.....

cruisingbajan Posted May 18, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I also have a PR booked for my upcoming cruise on deck 8. Does the deck you are on make a difference when you book these types of rooms? I have also been looking for a decent pic of these cabins but to no avail until now...thanks Texascruzrs:)

Does the deck you are on make a difference when you book these types of rooms? I have also been looking for a decent pic of these cabins but to no avail until now...thanks Texascruzrs:) We were on deck 8 the first time and it was very quiet. As you can see from the promenade picture...the windows on deck 8 are tilted out so you can see better. This time we will be on deck 6 because we want to be closer to the action. Ilikeboats Posted May 18, 2010 Author #12 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Also, before I book, in keeping with the other post, is there a difference in the decks. One of you stayed in 8, but now booked 6, so is 6 better? Thanks again.
