Perfect Stranger Posted May 19, 2010 #26 Share Posted May 19, 2010 "Kiss on the Lips" is great, but if you mean "bang for your buck", it's going to take quite a few (and some serious brain-freeze) to get you hammered. I'm with you there. Can't stand the headache I get from frozen drinks. I can't even drink McDonalds frappes.
Bunkie103 Posted May 19, 2010 #27 Share Posted May 19, 2010 MUST start each cruise with a Funship Special. After that I love their Mojitos.

C Cruise Dude Posted May 19, 2010 #31 Share Posted May 19, 2010 What is your favorite drink on a cruise? What has the most bang for the buck? It used to be Strawberry Daiquiris but on the last cruise I tried a Banana Daiquiri. It's my new favorite now. :D
C Cruise Dude Posted May 19, 2010 #32 Share Posted May 19, 2010 I love Margaritas. On the rocks; with salt. :D Strawberry Margaritas with salt. :D

pcvtmom Posted May 19, 2010 #34 Share Posted May 19, 2010 As far as "bang for your buck", on my last cruise I had a few Mai Tais that could knock your socks off! Maybe it was the bartender, but they were really potent! I don't think the DOD is usually very strong.
dear23 Posted May 19, 2010 #35 Share Posted May 19, 2010 The Tiramisu on the Carnival Martini menu is a winner - tastes just like it's namesake, and has enough booze in it that just one makes me buzzy for the evening. My favorite after dinner drink onboard! And good thing I haven't found them anywhere else, because it's probably also one of the most calorie-packed drinks around (but hey, vacations are for cheating on the diet, right?). laumicmah Posted May 19, 2010 #39 Share Posted May 19, 2010 The Kiss on the Lips was the yummiest drink I had on CCL, but it would take quite a few to feel a buzz. My DH discovered that the big Foster cans are the biggest bang for your buck.
janabm81 Posted May 19, 2010 #40 Share Posted May 19, 2010 My absolute favorite "cruise" drink of all time was the Funky Monkey but none of the bartenders on the last two cruises we've taken have known how to make it. I know it has chocolate liquor, banana liquor, vodka, and some other stuff (maybe malibu?) mixed with ice cream/ half & half but haven't remembered to look up a recipe and take it with us yet.
