Mayan Princes New Charges

I e-mailed Mayan Princess to ask about using their facilities for the day and here is what I received from Cynthia:

Greetings from the Mayan Princess Beach Resort

These are the facilities + price that we offer here at the Mayan Princess

For cruise ship member:

*Beach Chairs rental $10 for person

*Use the pool $7 for person

*Kayaks

*Snorkeling

*Restaurant

*Bar

Have a great Day, and yes you will have to pay a fee for the entrance!

Then I sent another e-mail asking about the charge and what will that cover since they are already charging for the pool and chairs. Here is the answer:

 

Normally we don’t charge for the entrance, but I think for those dates they will be a charge you Will have to pay to get in the Mayan Resort

So for now I don’t know what the fee would be…. Have a great day

Thanks for posting this. We were planning on going there next Tuesday while in Roatan, and now I think I'll look for another place. Any suggestions, anyone?

The beach is public so I would think that you should be fine since your cruise is so close. If someone working there doesn't even know yet their fee, it could take some time before everything is implemented. Have a good time and let us know what you end up doing.
