Seattle Light Rail from the airport to Pier 66

If we take the light rail from the airport to downtown Seattle; what are our options for getting to the NCL cruise terminal?

What stop do we get off at?

City Bus- How much, how long and what route number.

Taxi- Will it be easy to get one on a Sunday. Are Van sized taxis available and how much will it be for 4 people and our luggage?

Walking- is this even possible?

Also we have friends at the Grand Hyatt. How far is this from Light Rail?

Walking from the Westlake Station about five blocks downhill to the Market, through a VERY crowded Market to the elevator down to the waterfront, then between 1/4 to 1/2 mile north on the waterfront to Pier 66.

Forget the public transit bus, not happening from the airport anymore on public transit, light rail only. Gray Line Airporter about $12.00 per person one way, multiple stops downtown, but nothing near Pier 66. They used to have a connector bus that would take you to the Marriott right across the street but that has been discontinued this year.

Van taxis are only available for the physically challenged, by 24-48 hour advance notice, and occasionally (VERY occasionally) if one happens to be sitting there and will take you. From the airport to Pier 66 about $45 +/- including gratuity per taxi and you will probably need two.

About five blocks uphill.

Depends on what you want to spend on transportation . . .versus how much you want to walk with your bags.

Inexpensive route, take a couple block walk from the airport terminal to the Light rail, take the Light Rail $3.25 to Westlake Mall than taxi to Pier 66, cab will be about $10.

More convenient way, try a limo service, then you will have a sign with your name on it at the airport: http://www.bayviewlimo.com/rates.htm or http://www.crystalcoach.com/fleet.html or http://seattlegreenlimo.com/prices/A.htm?list=98101

just go to the white phone in baggage claim or ground transportation desk and ask for a limo to 66. Its a flat $45 no hassles and no need to reserve ahead of time.

If you really wanted light rail then I'd take it to Intl District station and walk to Amtrak where a cab stand is then to 66. That would be easier than taking light rail to Westlake.
