CruisinCat31 Posted June 1, 2010 #28 Share Posted June 1, 2010 On our first cruise this year we spent $4000, plus we took $2000 cash on board with us, and had prepaid our shore excursions so they werent included in that $4000!

sddsddean Posted June 1, 2010 #30 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Not mine, but one poor lady was in tears at Guest Relations on 'pay day' as her bill was over $10,000. Apparently her kids had spent most of the cruise on the super slow, super expensive RC internet! Simon
hazeleyez3 Posted June 1, 2010 #31 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Less than $300 on the Seapass (including tips). Excursions are never on the actual Seapass because they are bought before the cruise. If you want to include those then probably around $500-$600.

H2OH! mechcc Posted June 2, 2010 #39 Share Posted June 2, 2010 $2,000 plus on a 7 day HAL cruise. Shore excursions pre-booked and gambling done in cash. It was Hubby's retirement cruise so we treated ourselves to some very good wine more than once, a few spa treatments, and visited the shops on board more than once. He retired in style. demodawn Posted June 2, 2010 #42 Share Posted June 2, 2010 One week. $3000 cash advance at the casino each night. Treated the group to Chops and Portofino's as a reward for a job well done. Drinks, spa for all the wives. It adds up. Can I please work for you????:p I got a new lunch box for nurse week this year. debates2 Posted June 2, 2010 #43 Share Posted June 2, 2010 This is why my kids don't get charging privileges on their cards when we cruise, if they need something they can come find me and I will get it for them. I have four boys and on our first cruise my youngest discovered he could use his SeaPass card in the arcade...$5, $5, $5. My #3 son also discovered he could charge non-alcoholic daiquiris (for all his new friends). I checked out account on day #1 and discovered the two youngest had charged close to $600. I blocked their ability to charge and have not made that same mistake any our other trips.

bluegirlum Posted June 2, 2010 #45 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Guy next to me in line on Oasis had a bill of $5200. He was from England and his card was only approved for $5000. He actually said, well, I guess I have to go to the casino! :) Don't know what happened.

gkbiiii Posted June 2, 2010 #47 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Can I please work for you????:p I got a new lunch box for nurse week this year. Its close but not the same I noticed that Adventure had a $2400 per day charge allowance in the casino, so a 13 night cruise could be a costly bit of time. So it is possible at 2400 X 10 nights would be over $24,000; in a casino as tight as on Adventure!!! It makes you wonder how much one could blow, on a Around the World, 100 night Cunard Voyage??
