phone calls from state room

I was wondering if there is a special program for cruisers on regent that allows them to make phone calls back to the states. We have a relative currently on board and he keeps making calls to all of us. I told him that it could be very expensive. He claims that he is unaware of the cost.

Otherwise, it is $6.50 per minute. Hopefully he has earned the perk.
