Great time on Uniworld Danube river cruise May 2010

My husband and I just got back from a Danube river cruise and it was fantastic! We had nice sunny weather and loved everything about the cruiseline. The ship, the food, the staff, cleanliness were all suberb! It costs a little more than an ocean cruise, but everything is included - from the beer or wine with dinner, to the excursions everyday. The ship docks very close to the city (generally a few minutes walk), so you can get off anytime to go shopping or sightseeing on your own. I didn't want to get off to go home.

We did a Danube cruise with Grand Circle, Sep 2007, and enjoyed it also.

 

River cruising is quite different than ocean cruising - but a good experience.
