Cruises out of Charleston....REQ'D DOCS...

So, I know that this has been addressed time and time again, but for those of you who are traveling on closed loop cruises, those in Charleston, moreso, just wanted to let you know that with a STATE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE and a STATE ISSUED ID, that you can travel. I spoke with the supervisor and head of customs this afternoon at the port of charleston. They handle the Embarkation and Debarkation of the cruises. I was even offered an official letter saying that as long as I had STATE ISSUED B/C's and DL's that my family and I would be okay. Hope this eases the mind of some...
