Carry your own bags on board in Boston?

Can you carry your own Luggage on the Spirit in Boston? I rather carry my own if we are able to and not check them with the porters.

I think you can carry them on if they will fit into the security scanner equipment.

I guess you have some reason you want to do this. But, yes, you should be able to.

 

People will continually come on here saying the scanners are the as the airport and you can only take small bags. Wrong. I have seen many people with full size bags go through the xray machine. Not the real big ones though.

 

You might have to drag your bag around for awhile if cabins are not ready.

If you are able to carry them on, once you get on, go to the casino. They have crew there that check bags like a coat check, then once your cabin is ready, go back and pick them up.

Yes, "redsox85," you can do it, as long as your bag can fit through a standard scanner. I just did it in Boston on April 30.

Thanks husband and I carried them on three years ok. Just wanted to make sure we still could. Just like carrying them myself so I wont have to wait all day for them to be delivered to my room.
