Wyndham Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel

has anyone stayed here. I know they have shuttle service to and from airport, but what about to the ship? Will we have to take a taxi? Also are there any stores near by? Just trying to gather more information, any information will be helpful. Thanks

we stayed there in Sept and although it was during the hurricane and our experience was quite unusual, the rooms were very nice and the food was pretty good. The Sheraton is across the street and you can walk over there for a change of pace. They do have a shuttle to the port and there's shopping about 5 mins away by cab...if it's just for the nite before the cruise, it's perfect! We got our room there on Priceline and that made it all worthwhile! :p
