Calker Posted June 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2010 an 8D balcony on a Carnival ship is about equal to a ____ on a Norwegian ship we are looking at a NCL cruise for next May and would like a similar balcony stateroom on the NCL ship. Any help would be appreciated.
boaterette Posted June 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2010 They are equivalent to a minisuite on ncl. Regular balcony's on NCL are small compared to Carnival.
InternetAgeTraveler Posted June 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2010 From a pure class perspective, it depends a bit on which NCL ship, as each can be a bit different, but all the balcony rooms on each ship will be about the same size (smaller than Carnival) so the class is determined by position. Starting at the lower decks. the lowest class (BE) will be forward and aft cabins and midship will be a higher class (BD). This will repeat as you move up to the highest deck, with balcony cabins which will typically be BB cabins forward and aft and BA midship.
