Ship - Freedom of the Seas

Deck - 6

Stateroom # - 6615

Stateroom Category – AZ Accesible Promenade Stateroom

Starboard or Port Side - Inside Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Quiet 99% of the time -- you can hear the parades

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Remember to shut the curtains when you want privacy. The folks across from you can see EVERYTHING.

Any other comments? - I upgraded at the last minute for my 2 daughters (18 & 21) to this room. Since no one had booked it that needed the handicapped room, they put it in the "pool." It is a very nice oversized room with a big bathroom. Lots of sitting area (see pics). The girls enjoyed watching the occasional drunk walk through the promenade at all hours. Not much of a window - but you do have one! You can see 3 pics at this thread - starts with post 14:

Ship - Majesty of the Seas

Deck - 10

Stateroom # - 1044

Stateroom Category – JS - Junior Suite

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions when looking out. Looking straight down was a view of the top of the life boats. Deck 11 overhang above protects from rain but blocks almost all sun.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for Majesty, small for a Junior Suite when compared to the larger class ships. Had two chairs and a small table.

Was wind a problem? - No, but certainly breezy.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Cabin also contained a small pull out sleeper sofa, coffee table, and a cushioned chair. Decent sized closet, but not a walk-in like larger class JS cabins.

Dan.

Ship - Adventure of the Seas

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8354

Stateroom Category – D1: Superior Balcony

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal -- has two chairs and a small table (could also fit the glass coffee table from the cabin that we moved out there to give us more space inside)

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Aft of Midship, but no issue

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Great location, not far from stairs and elevators. Quiet. Good amount of storage, especially for a family of 4. Slept 4 with mom and dad in queen bed and kids in sofa pulled out. With older kids, they would have preferred a pullman, rather than sleeping together, but it worked out fine.

Ship - Oasis of the Seas

Deck - 11

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – very quiet

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – no obstructions, no issues

Balcony Size? Normal or over sized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? - not at all

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - we did not see any soot although some on upper decks said they had slight issues

Any specific problems with this cabin? - none we could note

Any other comments? - The cabin has a common balcony aft on deck 11 that over looks the Aqua Theater. We watched several shows form the balcony. Also a starboard cabin overlooks the dock so in ports you see the port rather than the open sea. Also can watch folks coming and leaving the ship. It is aft of the aft elevators to there is very little extra traffic. It is also a quick elevator ride up to Deck 16 to the Windjammer for a snack. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Ship - Oasis of the Seas

Deck - Ten

Stateroom - #10102 (forward oceanview cabin overlooking the bow/helipad)

Stateroom Category – F

Starboard or Port Side - Slightly Port (just left of dead center)

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Quiet except for the doors. The neighbors were slamming their front door constantly. And yes, you do hear the thrusters when docking in the morning but it only lasts a few minutes usually and you can go back to sleep.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Not a balcony but view is of the bow/helipad. Great to see nothing in front of you!

BKK1TcZCIAIXzMQ.jpg

Balcony Size? N/A

Was wind a problem? - N/A

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Other than the doors' susceptibility to slamming shut, nope.

Any other comments? - There's a lot of extra space between the bed and very large window (bed is "next" to the window for those wondering). It slants sharply at the very front but is more than ample to store suitcases, clothes or whatever doesn't fit in regular storage. I don't have pictures of the cabin itself uploaded but this gives you an idea: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1147485

Ship - Enchantment of the Seas

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8600

Stateroom Category – F

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - (Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue.) This is NOT a balcony room; this cabin however, is one of 16 newly created Panoramic Oceanview rooms on decks 7 and 8. They were designed when the ship went into drydock in December 2012, are the same size as the balcony cabins on the same deck, and extend to the full length where the balcony would be. Windows are nearly floor to ceiling, and the view is spectacular.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - See above

Was wind a problem? - N/A

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - None

Any other comments? - This is an incredibly spacious stateroom for this class of ship and the window view is outstanding. I can see these rooms booking quickly.
