Ship - Oasis of the Seas

Deck - 17

Stateroom # - 1716

Stateroom Category – Crown Loft Suite (CL)

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? – Very.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Double height and very unobstructed

Balcony Size? - Large (I don't know how it compares to similar classes as first cruise)

Was wind a problem? - No. Balconies are very sheltered. Was warm and wind free even on the windiest of days.

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Private swipe access makes the area very secure. I'd try to avoid the lifts around main meal times as windjammer one floor below causes some congestion. A much nicer route if go down one level and walk across the top main deck of the ship (Exercise and a pleasant view at the same time)

Ship - Allure of the Seas

Deck - 12

Stateroom # - 12723

Stateroom Category – B1 (Boardwalk Balcony)

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Mostly yes. Noise from Boardwalk during day and some nights but very quiet and dark starting around 11pm.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great view. 50% Boardwalk, 50% ocean. Great viewing of AquaTheater movie and performances. Picture below

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal I think. Had two chairs and a little table

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - None. Some may have issues with cabins directly across but just closing the sheer curtain during the day was enough and the heavy curtains at night if you are going to keep your light on.

Any other comments? - Just a few steps away from the "hidden" wing. Never ran into anyone up there so it was like a private balcony

View from the Balcony

Since the Grandeur incident last month, many people want to know what muster station each cabin is assigned. It is posted on the cabin door and on the sea pass. Could you add a column for the muster station for each cabin?

Ship -Brilliance OTS

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8588

Stateroom Category – E 1

Starboard or Port Side -Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – NO This cabin is directly off the Centrum and you don't need to go to the centrum to hear the rock n roll show at midnight, you can hear it from your cabin. If RCCL is going to use the centrum as a primary entertainment venue they should build sound wall at the entrance to the cabins.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -no

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions, good view toward bow of ship.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Oversized balcony.

Was wind a problem? - Could be slightly windy.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -

Any specific problems with this cabin? -

Any other comments? -Nice cabin, great location except for the noise from the Centrum.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Not at 6am! Carts from Windjammer directly above stateroom are very noisy.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Perfect

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Huge balcony (107 sq ft) with two loungers and two small tables. Lots of storage and closet space.

Was wind a problem? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Just Windjammer noise above.

Any other comments? - Nice arrangement of curtain enables stateroom to be divided into to areas for privacy -- bedroom and living area with the pull out couch.

Ship - Freedom of the Seas

Deck - 7

Stateroom - 7408

Stateroom Category - E1 balcony

Starboard or Portside - Starboard & aft

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) - Very quiet. Never heard any neighbors

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Marked as obstructed view on RCI, but it is really misleading. This balcony has amazing views and is very large! One of the gems I found here on cruise critic...

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Very large balcony with 2 loungers, 2 regular chairs, and a table.

Was wind a problem? - No.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - No. The balcony is completely covered above. Very private.

Any specific problems with this cabin? No

Any other comments? Very nice open space outside the cabin in the hallway too. The balcony is very large, but the cabin is regular E1 size. It is far from the elevators and stairs, but worth the extra walk to enjoy the space!

Ship - Rhapsody of the Seas

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8508

Stateroom Category – GS

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – NO! We were awakened every morning between 3:15 and 5:30 with the noise from the windjammer. They were preparing for breakfast. You would hear the same noise about 11:30 pm as they cleaned up from the day

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – balcony is under the overhang of the windjammer. We were protected from any rain that may come down. Not a great choice for sunbathers, but we loved it. There was nothing obstructing the view. You can watch the bridge personnel on the wing of the bridge as you come into port.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? - if you stayed within the balcony, no. Leaning out over the balcony (looking forward or aft) was windy.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - nothing other than the noise.

Any other comments? - We loved the room and the balcony. Perhaps if you had ear plugs the noise would be bearable.

Oversized for cabin class. Two loungers, two chairs and a table with plenty of room to move around.

Ship - Enchantment

Deck -4

Stateroom # -4590

Stateroom Category –Oceanview

Starboard or Port Side -Staboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) –It was the first stateroom forward of the centrum on the starboard side. When the band was playing, you could hear it a little, but they stopped promptly at 11pm each night.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -yes

Any specific problems with this cabin? - the toilet had a slight raw sewage smell, as did the public bathrooms around the ship. Our stateroom attendant did what he could to alleviate this, and it did help some, but didn't eliminate the problem entirely. Also, the mattress was horrible, and needed replacing badly.

Any other comments? - Very convenient location

Ship - Legend of the Seas

Deck - 8

Stateroom # - 8012

Stateroom Category – GS

Starboard or Port Side - Forward

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) –We experienced some noise from WJ above early mornings. We could also hear the faint sounds from the band playing on the pool deck between 2pm-4pm.

All in all this was no big deal for us and I regard this as a quiet cabin

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – The only obstruction to the water below was the "roof" of the new balcony cabins on deck 6. Again, no big deal at all. We had wonderful views.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? -Normal GS size which is approx 2 times the size of a regular cabin balcony.

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? -No problems at all.

Any other comments? -

All the GS has gotten new upholstery, curtains, flat screen tv, IPad and docking station for I phone during the last dry dock.

The bathrooms did not get an upgrade. The bathroom is still very comfortable but thought it strange Royal hadn't changed the cracked sink.

Ship - Freedom of the Seas

Deck - Six

Stateroom # - 6246

Stateroom Category –

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very quiet, no noise from Sorrento's or the Promenade as long as the cabin door was closed. This cabin had a full size sofa (not a loveseat).

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No Obstructions, the view changed daily. :p

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size balcony, but it seemed large to me. Balcony had two chairs and a small table.

Was wind a problem? - No, you could feel the wind blowing but it was pretty gentle as long as you didn't stick your head out past the railing.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - N/A

Any other comments? - This was a very convenient cabin location. One deck up from the Promenade and right above Sorrento's. We were behend the elevator lobby so it was easy to get to the upper or lower decks when you wanted to.
