Sunnygirl35 Posted February 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2005 Has anyone been to a wine tasting seminar on board the Star? Was it an additional charge, if so, how much and was it worth it? Thanks!
trish1c Posted February 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2005 I went to a wine tasting on the old Sky. It was $10 pp. You got a great over view, about 5 wines & some snacks. You also got a coupon for some amount off your next purchase of a bottle of wine.

e.durban Posted February 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2005 We went to a wine tasting on the Dawn in December and I'm pretty sure it was $5 per person. We tasted 4 wines and got a full glass of our favorite afterwards. Pretty good deal, and the wine steward was delightful and knew his stuff. My wife used to manage a restaurant in NYC and she's tough to impress, but really enjoyed the experience. Tastings were offered several times: the one we attended was part of a nifty "open house" by the catering department with many demonstrations, tastings and displays on the last sea day...
