Afternoon tea on 4 day cruise?

Don't know about this sailing specifically but there has been Tea Time on every Carnival ship I've been on on the sea days about 3 or 3:30. Check the Fun Times. Sometimes it's in the dining room, sometimes the library or piano bar.

I've never heard of tea time on any of our past cruises. We like to find new things to do each time. Can someone please explain this to me? Am I going to feel really stupid after the explanation? :o

Its 'low tea' nice table settings, linens, etc. (somewhat infromal)

Servers come by with a selection of teas. herbal, fruit, english teas, etc. then they bring you little silver pots of hot water. Servers with trays of delicious tidbits ( cucomber sandwiches, scones, berries/whipped cream, salmon on toastpoints, pasteries, cakes, meringes, etc) usaully piano music. Last about 1/2 an hour.

Nice relaxing break to the day.

We try not to miss it.
