Jo and Rob Posted July 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2010 I was wondering if you can get egg benedict for breakfast? I absolutely love it and is not often available on European holidays. Do they have daily specials? Is the coffee and juice free at breakfast? Do you have to pay for coffee in the evenings after dinner in the MDR or at lunch time? cosytoes Posted July 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Don't know about eggs. We had a balcony cabin so son and husband went for hot breakfast while me and DD had breakfast in the room at no extra cost. Just to cut down on some of the calories!! Tea and coffee free after meal in dining room. Free all day in restaurant (plus ices water) at serve yourself station unless you want specilality coffee latte etc then a charge but you can buy a coffee card. If you haven't already seen the posts about X1 drinks card, it's a must!
ballaratcruiser Posted July 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2010 We sailed the Allegra in April. Breakfast in the MDR was a buffet, but there was also a comprehensive "extras" menu on each table and eggs benedict was defnitely on the list. Their omelettes were very good too. Juices (five or six varieties) and coffee are free at breakfast. You'll have a choice of cappucino, latte, espresso etc. At evening meals in the MDR the free coffee is the filtered type; if you want a cappucino or latte you'll pay for it.
