Anyone know what the deposit amount for early saver cruises? Does it vary depending on the price or length of the cruise?

Depends on the length and destination of the cruise, can vary from $100-500, but its the same amount ES or non ES

Yep it depends on the length not rate plan. 7 day cruises are $250. My 5 day cruise was $200/pp

Note that my posted clearly stated that the actual deposit amount is based on length of cruise and itinerary AND WILL VARY.....But would be the same if booked w/ or w/out the Early Saver Rates ! ;)

It depends, sometimes there could be a special/deal going on. My last cruise it was $500 and this cruise it is $250 and they are the same length of cruise (one week).

The deposit for ES is the same as it in for any other fare class, so yes it does vary.

 

 

From a Carnival brochure:

 

The following deposit is required in order to secure confirmed accommodations:

 

Cruises-To-Nowhere – $50 per guest (nonrefundable), balance payable

no later than 60 days prior to departure date;

 

3 day cruises – $100 per

guest, balance payable no later than 60 days prior to departure date;

 

4 day cruises – $150 per guest, balance payable no later than 60 days

prior to departure date;

 

5 day cruises – $200 per guest, balance payable

no later than 60 days prior to departure date;

 

6 & 7 day cruises – $250

per guest, balance payable no later than 75 days prior to departure date;

 

8 day cruises – $300 per guest, balance payable no later than 75 days
