room010 Posted August 21, 2010 #26 Share Posted August 21, 2010 Leave your passport in your cabin safe. The slight risk of needing it to fly home if you miss the ship is far less than the severe aggro you will experience if it's lost, stolen or damaged if you take it on a snorkelling (!) excursion. If necessary take a colour photocopy of the ID page but I highly doubt you'll need even that.
mikewrit Posted August 21, 2010 #27 Share Posted August 21, 2010 And I am sorry for the thread creep. I realize our situation had nothing to do with snorkels.
Putterdude Posted August 21, 2010 #28 Share Posted August 21, 2010 I was rushing this morning to a tee-time this morning when I first posted but here is a link to the Witz company. You can now order their product online but also purchase it in many specialty outdoor and sporting good shops. We certainly like ours. http://www.witzsportcases.com/
Brockwest Posted August 22, 2010 #29 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Funny you should ask that, as I just got back from a cruise and my swim pouch is sitting right here, where I forgot it! It's awesome...it's called a Cascade Designs Inc. out of Seattle Washington...you put the stuff in, then it double rolls over and seals...absolutely waterproof...then has a clasp to click onto your suit.
