hubofhockey Posted August 27, 2010 #26 Share Posted August 27, 2010 :D Too funny Gotta love all those California NON-SMOKERS. Just let them cross that Cal-Neva line headed to Vegas. Of course Vegas is designed for the alter ego side of all of us. Maybe it's funny to you. But it's not just California. States in the northeast part of the US are pretty much health oriented as well with strict no-smoking policies in public places. It's the same in much of Europe now too. Carnival will get there. It will just take some time.

It will just take some time. Maybe my humor is too dark some days. It's funny because these self confessed so called health oriented people are the first ones to light up when they get to a Vegas casino. They whine and cry about smokers and smoke drifting, etc,etc when at home, but, once they cross that California/Nevada state line,,, all bets are off

klmorg Posted August 27, 2010 #32 Share Posted August 27, 2010 Share... I know how you seem to enjoy a fine smoking thread, but it looks to me like nothing has recently changed regarding the smoking policy in the last few months or weeks. Which would mean that for most ships that I know of, smoking is allowed in the disco/dance club/music lounges.
sharecruises Posted August 27, 2010 Author #33 Share Posted August 27, 2010 sharecruises, Sorry I don't have an answer for you since I have not cruised recently. I just wanted to say that I share in your frustration to the responses you have been getting. I'd like to know the answers to your question as well. Can anyone answer sharecruises questions? Thank you Warm Breezes !! I have tried to clearly state that I am looking for recent info....after I read John Heald's blog where he clearly stated they "made the dance clubs non smoking">> in reference to the disco on Spendor He did NOT say "we made just the Splendor non smoking" etc I was on the Liberty april 24-May1 and disco was smoking "historical" info, even a few months ago doesn't mean much here for instance, the first cruise I took they had a "smoking" section in the dining room LOL> but that means zip NOW Just because a Carnival Disco had smoking in may or July doesn't mean that they may have changed the rule in August I will also try to check out the latest "fun times" posted and see if I can find info there <sigh> Thanks for your support Warm Breezes and for the info/answers provided by SOME recent cruisers Hopefully more will post and/or John Heald or the "Stephanies" will answer me <grin>
