Door decorations

Hi all,

 

I'm going on a group cruise on the Carnival Inspiration. I want to put everybody's name on the doors to their cabins. Does anyone know how to do it. Should I use tape, or are the doors magnetic. Or is there a handle that I can hang door hangers from. I'm going to keep them simple and tasteful. Please let me know, as I have no idea what the doors are like on a cruise ship. Thanks for your help.

You can use 2 sided tape or the dollar store sells this puddy type stuff that u can use for hanging stuff up very popular by teachers... Signs are awesome on the doors helps alot when u cant find your room...

Good luck with it though.

We tried to do this on the Glory last May and the cabin doors were not magnetic and had a sheen of oil/polish that would not let the double sided tape stick.

We had used the 3M pull down and remove type. I want to say I also tried some real double sided tape, but the old noggin can't remember. I was having to much fun.

 

But I am going to try the double sided tape again next week on the Fantasy for sure

What about door handles. I can hang these from them with a ribbon through the paper. Does anyone know remember what kind of handles are on the doors?

I used the same 4 pieces for my daily door decorations on all my cruises and toss it at the end of the cruise. Never have had a problem.
