pacheco18 Posted August 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Paul Gauguin Cruises is pleased to share with you the news that we recently achieved our highest-ranking guest survey in the 14-year sailing history of the deluxe m/s Paul Gauguin, scoring a 98.3% in excellence by guests of the August 7, 2010 sailing to Tahiti & the Society Islands. This success represents tangible evidence of the renewed commitment of Paul Gauguin Cruises to providing guests with unsurpassed quality, luxury, and service since its acquisition by Pacific Beachcomber a year ago. pacaduli Posted August 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2010 We are sailing on October 23, 2010. I was very hesitant to treat myself to such a 'luxury', but finally decided that I/WE deserved it. To hear this makes me even more excited than ever! I am more confident than ever that we will have a wonderful time, and will (hopefully) catch this crazy "Island Fever" that everyone keeps talking about... :D Carol
buburin Posted August 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2010 I received an email as I am a subscriber to PG's newsletter which covered the rating of 98.3 "Excellence Rating". Conde Nast has also rated the Paul Gauguin as one of the top luxury crusing ships for several years now. You will not be disappointed in the least. I am not a person that is into cruising, but when I read the Conde Nast Magazine and saw the ship, I had to do some homework as I love French Polynesia and had been in Bora Bora 12 yrs. ago - I have always wanted to go back. I was not a scuba diver at the time but now can go diving in Rangiroa, Bora Bora and Moorea. I am so excited but must wait until next year. We are booked on the June 29th 2011 cruise. Happy Sailing!!! Nancy
