Thanks , Postal There is nothing wrong with the thrusters on the Jewel as far as I know. You may be confusing the problem they have with the thrust bearings in one of the azapod propulsion nodes. This is part of the propulsion system for the ship. The thrusters are only used for maneuvering while docking, etc. I have not heard if the thrust bearing issue has been resolved or not. postal Posted August 31, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted August 31, 2010 :D Parts are on order and if they get them they will fix the problem when they are in port. It's an underwater job. That's all I know up till now.

Since the Azipods essentially act as thrusters for docking there are no aft thrusters on these type of ships. PE

PE Yes but there are bow thrusters that are called Thrusters! Azipods may be used to thrust but they are not thrusters. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck! :D

Nothing against you. PE
Sauer-kraut Posted September 1, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2010 All I can think of is "Jewel Thrusters" would be a great tag line for a Mae West double entendre.
