There is nothing wrong with the thrusters on the Jewel as far as I know.

 

You may be confusing the problem they have with the thrust bearings in one of the azapod propulsion nodes. This is part of the propulsion system for the ship. The thrusters are only used for maneuvering while docking, etc.

 

I have not heard if the thrust bearing issue has been resolved or not.

:D Parts are on order and if they get them they will fix the problem when they are in port. It's an underwater job. That's all I know up till now. :rolleyes:

Since the Azipods essentially act as thrusters for docking there are no aft thrusters on these type of ships.

I was just pointing out that the OP might have confused the Azipods with thrusters.
