What to do after cruise?

My sister and I have a 3:20 p.m. flight from San Juan to Chicago once SOS docks on October 31. Any suggestions on what to do after disembarkation? We do not want to sit in the airport until our flight departs (more than likely the flight will be delayed) but we also do not want to walk around town with our lugggage. We will be in San Juan two days pre-cruise so I think we will have seen all the touristy spots by then.

I thought about the Bacardi Rum Distillery with airport drop off excursion. Any suggestions? Thanks, CCs.:)

We sail on SOS every January. When we get off of the ship we go to the airport, when you get there you have to go thru USDA with your bags,if you don't you will not be able to check in.It only takes a minute, they check for fruits and alike. If we are able to check in,we do.Then we cross the bridge across the street and go to Buffalo wings. It is like a take out,you can sit and watch TV and no one will bother you. Then at noon the casino in the airport opens.Or you can just stay in BWs and watch the football games.

The ship will offer several after-cruise excursions which include dropping you at the airport. The nice thing is they take care of your luggage, so you don't have to haul it around.

Try one of those and enjoy an extra bit of sightseeing before heading back to reality.

We did this last cruise and it was great.

I have that same flight in April, 3:20 to Chicago also. We are thinking of doing one of the ships excursions then we won't have to worry about luggage. If anyone here has done one, please let us know if they liked it.

Thanks Sharon

I did the Old and New San Juan tour with Airport Drop-Off. It was pretty good, got to see quiet a bit. It was much better than sitting at the airport bored. The lugguage was waiting for us when we got to the airport.

If your going to tour old san juan before your cruise do the distillery.
